Ashley Reed – While You’re at Work!
Hey SWLA! I’m Back! After an almost 3 year hiatus and raising babies you can find me on the mid day show right here on The Big Kix 96.1 from 10 AM – 3 PM! It’s so crazy to think I started in radio 10 years ago, but man has it been a fun ride! From waking up with you every morning for 7 years to all the concerts, contests, fun in the studio, and helping out in the community it truly has been some of the best years of my life! The Big Kix 96.1 has always been a home for me… so I guess it’s true when they say you can always come home!
In my spare time you can find me at the ball field either cheering on my husband and the Westlake Rams or coaching my daughters tee ball team in Moss Bluff (The Bayou Barbies). I am your typical girl mom running kids around to dance, gymnastics, tee ball, soccer, and basketball and loving every minute of it!
I am also the Vice President of the best Krewe around.. Krewe of the South, and serve on the West Cal Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Chair of the Bob Hardy Memorial Golf Tournament, as well as the Planning Committee Board for the Ethel Precht Breast Cancer Walk. I also just finished my year long journey with the Leadership SWLA program and had the best time with my class! Volunteering in our community has always been a passion of mine, so don’t be surprised if you see me out and about at all the fundraisers and events around town, especially now more than ever, because I think its so important to raise my girls knowing how important it is to give back!
I love to deep sea fish, craft, travel (especially to Nashville and Disney World, and love Live country music, but most importantly spending every second I can with my family and watching my girls grow up!
