We are proud to serve Southwest Louisiana with a full service news department. 
 KYKZ broadcast an hourly newscast 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  While local
news receives first priority, newscasts are supplemented with state, national and
world stories from ABC News. 

KYKZ-96 listeners have the advantage of immediate up to the minute
information from another source - a vast area network of cellular phone users. 
KYKZ urges the public to call the station with breaking news and most importantly,
road and traffic information.
